RÉJEAN HUARD CHALLENGE
The Réjean Huard Challenge is a friendly race over approximately 2 miles which consists in matching registered La Classique athletes with children and young adults living with a physical or intellectual limitations. The young people train with professional trainers over 50 hours throughout the summer and give the best of themselves during the race. This moment is eagerly awaited by each of them. It’s THEIR Classique!
Since the 2018 edition, the Réjean Huard Challenge has hosted a Rabaska Challenge for underprivileged youth through the collaboration of the URLS Mauricie and the Jouer pour Jouer program.
The Réjean Huard Challenge is the main component of our social development plan. This event allows several young people to get involved in a gratifying project, to sharpen their desire for perseverance in addition to promoting fitness and encouraging their integration in today’s society. For almost 20 years, La Classique has had young people at heart and wants them to enjoy an experience that is both enriching and life-changing.
