The General Clinton Canoe Regatta is an annual paddling event held in New York State, USA. Organized since 1963, the regatta takes place over Memorial Day weekend and features a 70-mile (approx. 113 km) race on the Susquehanna River, from Cooperstown to Bainbridge. The event attracts top-level athletes as well as amateurs and families, offering a variety of races for all skill levels. This 120-mile (approx. 193 km) race starts in Grayling and finishes in Oscoda, following the winding course of the AuSable River. Two-person teams must demonstrate incredible physical strength, expert paddling technique, and the ability to manage fatigue during this non-stop, often overnight, challenge.
